Benefex Security Update April 2024

Each G.R.A Member,

The company formally known as Workit, now Benefex who administer the Garda Representative Association members discount portal, have contacted the G.R.A. to inform me that in the normal course of their security checks, their Information Security team have noticed that the domain name 'benefexs.co.uk' was recently registered in the UK.

While there isn't any untoward activity from this domain at the moment, it has been flagged as a potential site for phishing attacks against customers. Benefex have assured me that they are taking action to have this domain taken down at the earliest opportunity.

In the meantime, please be especially diligent and make sure any incoming requests are from a trusted source, particularly where they relate to sensitive data or payments.
